Hi! I’m Bre. Nice to meet you.
After a health scare during my first pregnancy in 2023 (with that sweet little babe above!), I’m on a journey toward slow living, mindfulness, and prioritizing my health, little family, home, and happiness above all else.
In April 2023, we welcomed our beautiful baby girl, Adeline, after a lengthy hospital stay where I battled severe preeclampsia. Our angel girl arrived at just 30 weeks and 3 days and spent a total of 52 days in the NICU. To say it was the hardest 3 months of our lives is an understatement. We are so lucky we had so much support from our family, friends, and work families. We truly couldn’t have made it through without them. Through this journey, I’ve found a new purpose in raising awareness and support of maternal health, especially blood pressure disorders in pregnancy, and helping families going through their own NICU journeys. Learn more about the NICU Nursery Project below — a non-profit I started that builds at-home nurseries for NICU families in need.
Life with the family in the Pacific Northwest
I'm happily married to the handsome fella above. Tim and I met in Southern California where we both spent the majority of our "growing up" years. We dated for about 5 years before he popped the question on New Year's Eve in 2013 and were married on July 25, 2015.
We moved to Portland after visiting for the Oregon Brewer's Festival in 2013. We just absolutely fell in love with the city and after that, there was no stopping us! It's been a very serendipitous experience; we definitely feel like we're meant to be here.
When I’m not DIYing, interior designing, baking, reading, or helping NICU families, I’m spending time with my family and pup and working full-time as a marketing professional.
